Terrilynn Haak, Director of Sales

After three years of success as a sales manager at The Chart House, Terrilynn brought her drive and dedication to Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Boston, where she served as the Director of Private Dining for almost a decade. Here she exceeded all personal and team sales and revenue goals by significantly increasing corporate and total sales for the restaurant. Highlighting her ability to multi-task and wear many hats, Terrilynn was responsible for staff training, assisting with the launch of Fleming’s new website, redirecting marketing strategies to focus on community relations, which in turn increased revenue in the social market, and overseeing public relations events.

Always looking to grow and experience as much as possible in her industry, in 2011, Terrilynn took a position at Towne Stove and Spirits in Boston’s Back Bay as Director of Sales. Again, Terrilynn proved her sales expertise by increasing the restaurant’s business through direct sales efforts and creating a buy-out program for the restaurant. In addition to her sales responsibilities, Terrilynn oversaw the development of all menus for the restaurant and its events, established and maintained community relationships to keep restaurants top of mind, developed and implemented a regional and national public relations program and oversaw all training of staff.

As of March 2015, Terrilynn joined the ranks of The Varano Group, where she serves as Director of Sales of STRIP by Strega, restaurateur Nick Varano’s interpretation of an upscale, modern, high energy steakhouse that’s housed in the new Boston Park Plaza Hotel, and Strega Prime, The Varano Group’s Italian steakhouse in Woburn, MA.

Terrilynn is also a board member of Skal International Boston, a national organization of leaders in the hospitality industry and, most recently, a recipient of the President’s Award for Skal International Boston for her unwavering support of the organization’s philanthropic efforts. Her additional charitable efforts include work with the Ellie Fund, Boston Children’s Hospital and Pitching in for Kids.

Terrilynn resides in Salem, MA and is a graduate of Curry College with a bachelor’s degree in arts and communications.
